Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum said that the Egyptian Natural gas Holding Company and Swiss-based company Vitol concluded the LNG supply deal.

According to the ministry, Vitol will deliver 9 LNG cargoes to EGAS starting in June 2015.

Currently, negotiations with BP are ongoing on technical and contractual points in order to finalize the contract to import 21 shipments of LNG.

This would conclude the signings of contracts with the winners of a $2.2 billion LNG supply tender.

Egypt already signed the deals with Trafigura for 33 shipments and Noble Energy for further 7 cargoes.
