New partnership to offer integrated subsea packages

UK’s Caley Ocean Systems and US’ Umbilicals International have partnered up to offer operators and offshore contractors integrated solutions for the deployment of subsea packages and well intervention systems.

Caley Ocean Systems specializes in offshore handling systems, and Umbilicals International manufactures umbilicals and cables.

By joining forces, the companies now offer integrated approach of combined technical and engineering expertise and resources, the press release reads.

Colin Zak , president of Umbilicals International, said: “Our cables and umbilicals are used in the main for dynamic, load bearing applications where frequent deployment and recovery of the attached system is required. Working with Caley we are able to increase cable and umbilical service life, reducing the downtime between deployments.”

Caley Ocean Systems and Umbilicals International are the first companies in the newly formed Seanamic Group, established by independent investment bank, Simmons & Company International.

Seanamic Group provides packaged solutions for operators and main contractors in the field of oil and gas, renewables energy, oceongrahic science and research, among others.
