Boskalis Subsea Services has recently completed the Drydocking of the DP2 DSV Constructor.

Amongst the 5 years special survey other significant upgrades have been implemented related to the communication network, videorecording and distribution, power outlets on deck eliminating generators on deck, galley/messroom improvements and a new gangway.

Furthermore, the vessel has been repainted in fresh Boskalis colors and Royal Boskalis logo.

After the drydocking the vessel has returned to the Southern North Sea for continuation of saturation diving services in the UK Sector for well intervention & decommissioning services.

The fully integrated single bell SAT system is used with 9 divers in saturation, working in 3 shifts of 8 hours each with 3 divers in the bell per shift. The system allows for 12 divers in the system for rotation of the sat divers in order to exchange divers while the work continues. Furthermore, a surface supplied air diving system and a Panther XT Plus ROV system are onboard the vessel.

Boskalis Subsea Services has extended the charter for the Constructor in 2014 for another 6 years firm and will continue to utilize the vessel in the Atlantic region (North Sea, Med, West Africa).
