Following the successful development of Monopile Entry System (Pro-MES), Vos Prodect Innovations has been awarded a contract by Van Oord, regarding the design and supply of cable protection systems for GEMINI OWF project.

600 MW Gemini wind farm is one of the largest offshore wind farms ever built. The park will be located 85 kilometers north of Groningen, the Netherlands.

Pro-MES will be installed into the J-tubeless foundations of Gemini OWF, for the protection of inter array cables against over-bending and excessive forces that the cables can experience during installation period and service life time.

The design of Pro-MES is aimed at easy installation, no malfunctions / failures during pull-in, protection of the cable and significant cost reduction.

“The first assignment for the delivery of Monopile Entry Systems is a major milestone for Vos Prodect on the path towards maintaining our strong position in the offshore wind market. We will continue to develop innovative & cost efficient systems and respond to specific requirements of our valued clients,” said the company in a statement.
