Van Oord has awarded Vos Prodect Innovations with a contract for the design and supply of cable protection systems for the Gemini offshore wind project.

This is the first project where Vos Prodect will utilize its recently developed Monopile Entry System (Pro-MES).

The Pro-MES system will be installed into the J-tubeless foundations of Gemini offshore wind farm, for the protection of inter array cables against over-bending and excessive forces that the cables can experience during installation period and service life time.

The design of Pro-MES is aimed at easy installation, no malfunctions / failures during pull-in, protection of the cable and significant cost reduction.
