DSC Dredge Director of Technological Sales/Support, John “Sonny” Lightsey, will speak about “Electrical Safety on the Water” at AGG1 Academy Session W55, on Wednesday, March 18, from 9:30-11 a.m., the company announced.

Safe operation of electrical equipment on the water, like dredges and floating conveyors, requires proper equipment selection, installation, and operating practices.

This presentation will outline MSHA‘s and NEC’s electrical requirements, and some of the current best practices that exceed these standards and reduce the chance of on electrical related injury or equipment failure.

The AGG1 exposition will feature a wide range of aggregate-related equipment, products and services, with exhibits that incorporate demonstrations and technology.
