Kentish Flats Extension: Ramora to Survey for UXO, Construction Starts in May

Vattenfall, the Swedish energy company, has hired Ramora UK for a job at its Kentish Flats Extension (KFE) project. Vattenfall, the Swedish energy company, has hired Ramora UK for a job at its Kentish Flats Extension (KFE) project.

Ramora will utilise Offshore Marine Solutions’ vessel, Terramare 1, to carry out a few days of potential UXO target investigation survey next week.

The diving is programmed to start on 26 March 2015 and last for one week weather depending.

Vattenfall’s spokesperson, Jason Ormiston, added the survey will be followed by construction works at the offshore wind farm due to commence in May this year.
