Six months before Husum Wind kicks off, almost all the exhibition space has already been booked – over 90 per cent of the available stand space has already been booked, with more space reserved.

The Husum exhibition organisers are expecting around 600 exhibitors and 20,000 visitors from 15 to 18 September. With its focus on the important German market, HUSUM Wind will be the world’s biggest wind industry event of the year.

Peter Becker, managing director of Messe Husum & Congress , welcomes the unbroken interest in the wind trade fair in North Frisia: “HUSUM Wind is still an important event in the wind industry diary. Anyone still wanting to book a stand in Husum had better hurry.”

Even though 90 per cent of the available space has been firmly booked, a few particularly attractive spaces have become available as a result of some major exhibitors moving to an adjacent exhibition hall where they can have more space than they had originally booked.

Earlier this year, German energy minister Sigmar Gabriel accepted to serve as patron of HUSUM Wind. The list of exhibitors reads like the Who´s Who of the wind industry, and the spectrum of exhibitors covers all areas, ranging from turbine manufacturers and utility companies to maintenance firms and wind industry suppliers. Numerous exhibitors have again enlarged the stands they had already booked.

The fair is characterised by the high proportion of practical content, and also offers excursions to various wind-relevant destinations in the vicinity, such as wind farms or production plants.

Parallel to the exhibition there will be a conference and the Windcareer job fair. The conference covers all the topics relating to wind power and the energy transition. At Windcareer, Messe Husum & Congress will also be providing information about zukunftsenergien nordwest (Future Energies Northwest), Germany’s biggest career and training fair for renewable energy and energy efficiency, which is being held at the Bremen exhibition centre from 20 to 21 March.
