Fugro has introduced high accuracy G2+ service designed to help offshore operators with positioning and measurement accuracy.
Applications for this service include offshore construction, survey services, vessel monitoring and structural monitoring.
The service enables real-time correction of tidal changes, which impact the accuracy of seabed mapping, as well as the real-time monitoring of the motion of floating and fixed structures.
This is a part of GNSS (global navigation satellite system) augmentation, and represents an improvement to the G2 service.
