Iberdrola and Bladt Industries have signed a contract for the fabrication of 41 jacket foundations and 164 pin piles for the upcoming Wikinger Offshore Wind Farm situated in the German part of the Baltic Sea.

The Wikinger Offshore Wind Farm will consist of 70 wind turbines with a total capacity of 350 MW.

Bladt Industries will provide 41 four-legged jacket structures including four piles for each jacket foundation.

The fabrication of the Wikinger project will start up in the spring of 2015 at the Lindø facilities. The first jackets are planned to be delivered in the spring of 2016. The jacket foundations will be installed in water depths of up to 42 meters, each with a weight of approximately 600 tons and a footprint of 23×23 meters.
