The joint venture of SENER and AFCONS has recently signed an EPC contract with H-Energy Gateway Private limited, a Hiranandani Group Company, for turnkey engineering, procurement and construction of its LNG storage and regasification project in Jaigad, Maharashtra.
The capacity of the plant is 8 million tons per annum and facility construction is set to commence from mid this year, the company said in a statement.
“H-Energy is glad to have obtained final Environmental Clearance earlier this month along with confirmation of grid connectivity at Dabhol. Signing of an EPC Contract with a very capable SENER- AFCONS JV marks another milestone for the project,” said Darshan Hiranandani, Chief Executive Officer, H-Energy Group of Companies .
The joint venture, AFCONS – SENER LNG Construction Projects, a 49-51% partnership between the two companies, will be responsible for design, engineering, procurement, project management, construction, testing and commissioning for this LNG terminal.
SENER will carry out complete design and engineering for this project on behalf of the JV and support the JV with procurement, construction, project management and commissioning.
