APT Global, a Dubai-based manufacturer and technical service provider in marine, dredging, offshore and oil and gas industries, has played a major role in construction and installation of 5MW land based booster station “Al Jabbar” for Van Oord.

After fabrication and machining of the 50t foundation skid structure in one of APT’s UAE facilities, the structures and components were shipped to the project site in Kuwait.

APT Global mobilized a dedicated team of specialists and equipment to undertake the complete mechanical installation of electric motor, gearbox and 1000mm pipe line diameter dredge pump.

“ This is another great example of our capabilities and our flexible service oriented approach to global project support ,” APT stated.

The land based booster station“Al Jabbar” is operational since end 2014.
