Dragflow, a company specialized in solid pumping solutions with over 25 years of experience in manufacturing heavy duty pumps and complete dredging equipment, has recently attended the twelfth bi-annual Offshore Mediterranean Conference (OMC 2015) in Ravenna, Italy.

The three-day conference hosted a number of technical sessions, with a special attention given to the latest developments in Enhanced Oil Recovery methods (EOR), the latest EU directives for the offshore sectors, as well as the ways of reducing safety and environmental risks.

Elisa Innocenti, Marketing Manager at Dragflow , revealed to us at the event that they have designed and delivered a customized solution to one of the largest contractors in the oil and gas industry.

“ We designed and built a system that includes two Hydraulic Pumps (model HY85) attached to a steel frame with a protective shield. This shield covers the pipe of approximately 1 m diameter. This symmetrical and reversible system uses a special version of our classic HY85 pump, modified for an increased performance. The solution is unique and can be used in different ways according to specific needs.”

This equipment will be used in a project in the Caspian Sea, Kazakhstan.

Hereby, we are bringing you a couple of photos from the event:
