Jiangsu Hengtong Wins Rudong OWF Cable Deal

Jiangsu Hengtong Power Cable Co., Ltd has won a contract from China General Nuclear Power Group (CGN) to provide high voltage subsea cables for the 150MW Rudong offshore wind demonstration project.

The contract, worth CNY 32.05 million (approx. EUR 4.8 million), covers the delivery of a 55km long 35kV submarine optical composite cable with accompanying equipment.

The project will feature Siemens 4MW wind turbines, which will be installed off Rudong County in Chinese Jiangsu province.
