Van Oord installed the first 60m turbine tower at the Eneco Luchterduinen offshore wind farm yesterday.
The first 8 wind turbines were loaded onto the Aeolus during the weekend and now the work is in full swing. Van Oord will install 43 Vestas wind turbines.
Eneco Luchterduinen is scheduled to be operational and generate green electricity for nearly 150,000 households by the end of this year. The wind farm is a joint project of Japan’s Mitsubishi Corporation and Eneco Group.
