Teledyne Gavia will introduce new Multibeam Profiler module to the attendees at Ocean Business next week in Southampton.
The Multibeam Profiler module, built for the Gavia AUV by Teledyne BlueView, is derived from BlueView’s 2250 kHz MB-Series sonar.
When used with software applications, the BlueView system provides solutions for commercial, military, and scientific AUV applications, including 3D bottom mapping, high-resolution target rendering, and side scan gap-fill.
The Multibeam Profiler module is a great addition to the suite of sensor options for Gavia’s Offshore Surveyor AUV, the company said in a press release.
Also on display in Teledyne’s booth T5 will be Gavia’s new Detachable Float Nosecone for use in Launch and Recovery systems and new Side Scan Sonar options.
