Caterpillar has introduced its new Cat® 320D2 GC hydraulic excavator, engineered for low operating costs, simple routine maintenance, high productivity and long-term durability.

Equipped with a four-cylinder, turbocharged Cat 3054CA engine, the new model is exceptionally fuel efficient, delivering fuel savings up to 19 percent, compared with the C7.1 engine on the 320D2.

This machine features a powerful hydraulic system, heavy-duty main structures and an operator’s station designed for optimum comfort and convenience.

The 320D2 GC’s Cat 3054CA engine is rated at 88.4 net kW (SAE J1349) and meets U.S. EPA Tier 2, EU Stage II equivalent emission standards.

A fixed-speed cooling fan further reduces power draw and fuel consumption, while also helping to lower machine bystander sound levels to 101 dB(A) and meeting China Stage 2 and Brazilian sound regulations.
