The Finnish Transport Agency (FTA)/Hydrographic Survey Data Management has issued a tender invitation for hydrographic survey services in the Helsinki area, Finland.
The contractor is to carry out hydrographic surveys based on the specifications and drawings included in the tender documents and appendices.
FTA plans to use the survey results to update nautical charts, for the efficient routing and safe navigation of all types of shipping and associated navigational publications.
The value of the tender is approximately €950,000 ($1 million) and it’s planned to last 16 months from date of the contract award.
The deadline for submission of tenders is May 5, 2014.
