Survitec Group Norway has won a contract with Statoil for supplying 7500 items of safety equipment to the Johan Sverdrup oil field in the North Sea.
The new framework agreement of supplying the oilfield, is the largest single product sales contract ever awarded to Survitec’s Norwegian business, the company said.
Commenting on the record agreement, Bjørn Nogva , Sales and Marketing Manager, Survitec Norway AS said: “This is a very important contract and we are delighted to have been selected by Statoil. Key to the success of our tender has been our capability to comply with the stringent documentation requirements demanded by the industry, as well as our ability to deliver the package at a competitive price.”
The framework agreement covers supplies to one installation as a first step, with an option for another three future installations. Survitec Norway will supply a wide range of marine safety, fire and rescue equipment.

It is great that we will be involved in its development from the outset as a provider of critical safety equipment.”
