Marty Durbin, President and Chief Executive Officer of America’s Natural Gas Alliance, said ANGA released a new white paper, encouraging U.S. policymakers to move expeditiously to approve terminals that allow for the export of liquefied natural gas.

“The latest estimates confirm, again, that our natural gas supply is sustainable, reliable and large enough to last more than a century,” Durbin said. “This means the U.S. can be a global energy leader without sacrificing our domestic advantage. But we must accelerate approval of export facilities in order to secure that role and maximize the benefits both here at home and globally.”
The white paper details the significant economic, environmental and geopolitical benefit derived from LNG exports, and cites extensive research showing such exports would result in negligible cost increases for natural gas in the United States, stands in the paper.
