Chevron Hires Norce Endeavour for Thailand Campaign

Solstad Offshore ASA has received confirmation from Chevron Offshore (Thailand) Ltd., Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd. and Chevron Pattani Ltd. in Thailand for the 2016 Offshore Installation Campaign utilizing its DLB “Norce Endeavour”.

DLB “Norce Endeavour” will install multiple new Wellhead Platforms and Subsea Pipelines for Chevron in the Gulf of Thailand during the 2016 campaign.

The offshore scope of work includes the installation of fourteen WHP’s (Well Head Platforms) and fifteen Pipelines with an estimated utilization of the DLB Norce Endeavour of around 200 days with preparation for mobilization starting first quarter 2016.

Solstad will provide project management, engineering, procurement and logistics to support the DLB installation and construction scope of work through its DLB Marine Projects group in the Singapore office, the company informed.

The contract value is confidential among the parties.

DLB Norce Endeavour is currently preparing to start the 2015 offshore installation program for Chevron starting 30 April 2015.
