Teekay informed that its LNG carrier Meridian Spirit recently reached a safety milestone achieving 4 years without any lost time injury.
Teekay acquired the Meridian Spirit in 2012 from Maersk together with five other LNG carriers.
The 165,500 cbm carrier was built in 2010 by Samsung Heavy Industries. The double-hulled vessel is sailing under the flag of Danish Int’l Reg. and was originally named Maersk Spirit but renamed in March 2012.
