NMDC, a company that provides dredging, reclamation and marine construction work in the Middle East, has just won the Hail Field Development Project.

The project consists of a new artificial island (350m x 100m) which will be built on the reclaimed land.

Also included in the project are channel dredging works aimed to widen the shipping channel to 120m with depth of -6m for the client ADOC (Abu Dhabi Oil Company – Japan).

For this purpose, NMDC plans to use its heavy duty cutter suction dredger ‘Umm El Zemoul’.

The main target of this $84 million worth project is to increase oil production of Hail Oil Field in November 2016. The deadline for completing this project is set for December 2015.
