All-Energy conference and exhibition opened its doors today at Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC) in Glasgow.

The move from Aberdeen to Glasgow has been greeted with enthusiasm by exhibitors, visitors and speakers. The event plays an important role for Glasgow during its Green Year. All-Energy is expected to bring a GBP 4.6 million boost to Glasgow’s economy, writes Herald Scotland.

“As the UK’s first green energy super-city, Glasgow truly is the perfect home for the UK’s largest renewable energy event,” said Councillor Gordon Matheson, Leader of Glasgow City Council, Chair of Glasgow City Marketing Bureau and Chair of Sustainable Glasgow.

Thousands of people from the renewable industry gathered in Scotland’s largest city to learn and network at what will be the most comprehensive All-Energy edition to date.
