Construction works on a new container terminal at Tanjung Priok Port, Jakarta, Indonesia, are progressing according to schedule and within the budget.

The NewPriok Project is expected to greatly increase Jakarta’s port capacity through increasing the port’s water depth to 20 meters in order to accommodate larger and newer types of vessels with more than 15,000 TEU capacity, that are currently unable to dock in Indonesia.

PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia II (IPC), Mitsui & Co, Ltd. (Mitsui), Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK Line) and PSA International Pte Ltd (PSA) have agreed to jointly participate in the construction and operation of a new container terminal at Tanjung Priok Port, Jakarta, Indonesia.
