With the shoreline of the Cromarty Firth literally changing shape, communities around Invergordon will have an opportunity to see the progress on the port reclamation project, due to be completed in August 2015.

A public exhibition will be held by the Port of Cromarty Firth to showcase the major enhancements to their current facilities at the Invergordon Service Base, following an investment by the Trust Port of more than £24 million.

Since February 2014, work has been underway to reclaim nine acres of seabed and construct a new 154 m deep-water quay. The new facilities will open up new markets and business opportunities in the Cromarty Firth, helping to ensure the continued growth and long term future of the Port, for the benefits of all its stakeholders.

The public exhibition will be held at the Arts Centre, Invergordon High Street, on Thursday, 28th May, between 5-7pm.
