WavEC Offshore Renewables is seeking an engineer with the experience in offshore applications to complement its Technology and Monitoring Team.

The successful applicant will engage in offshore engineering projects, mainly addressing offshore operations and specifications, and also the design and assembly of offshore components.

The engineer selected after the recruitment process will make an addition to the team of 25 people that have significant experience in prototype applications in offshore renewables.

WavEC is a non-profit research and innovation center based in Lisbon, Portugal, specialized in wave energy and offshore wind.

Since 2004 WavEC has been operating 400 kW Pico wave energy power plant, that was co-funded by the European Commission, and built in order to demonstrate the technical viability of wave energy on a small island grid.
