DeepOcean has been awarded an Inspection, Maintenance and Repair (IMR) contract by GDF SUEZ E&P Norge.

The four year contract covers all ROV based IMR work for GDF SUEZ on Gjøa field and the associated subsea assets.

DeepOcean will use vessels from its North Sea based fleet for work under this contract.

“GDF SUEZ has chosen to combine the previous separate contracts for Inspection scope and the Maintenance and Repair work into this single IMR contract. The award confirms our historic quality performance and our goal to develop long term relations with our customers.

“Providing attractive commercial and technical solutions to the operators is key in today’s market and we have again proven our ability to meet our customer’s specifications and high expectations,” said Ottar Mæland , DeepOcean’s Executive Vice President Greater North Sea.
