Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Panagiotis Lafazanis, Minister of Productive Reconstruction, Environment and Energy of Greece, held a meeting in St. Petersburg.
According to Gazprom statement, the two parties discussed the construction of Russian natural gas transmission facilities in Greece.
It was noted that Gazprom was ready to consider the options for building that infrastructure on mutually beneficial terms.
Gazprom’s Turkish Stream project will connect Russia with Greece at Ipsala on Turkey’s border with Greece.
