DNV GL (Renewables Advisory Division) is looking for a Head of Section Offshore Renewables Installation and Logistics.

The Section has expertise in offshore renewable installation and logistics, decommissioning, vessel application, ports and fabrication.

Staff advise and run projects for utilities, usually in the early development phases, but also support construction and operational sites.

The section offers advice to government, NGO and supplier companies, along with working closely with oil and gas, maritime and wave and tidal sections.

The job activities include, among others, commercial, technical and administrative responsibility for proposals and consultancy contracts allocated to them, within the DNV GL governance and project management framework.

The Head of offshore Installation and Logistics section is expected to build strong relationships across the company, within renewables advisory with structural, electrical, wind turbine and operations teams, and analysts who develop the O2C (Optimised Offshore Construction) tool, and outwith renewables with the oil and gas project management and marine operations, maritime vessels advisory and wave and tidal design teams.

The closing date for the job application is June 12, 2015.

DNV GL is a ship and offshore classification society, and technical advisor for the energy value chain including renewables and energy efficiency, as well as the global oil and gas industry.
