Formosa Wind Power Co. Ltd has signed a turbine supply deal with Siemens Wind Power for the Formosa 1 offshore wind farm test project, Taiwan’s first utility-size offshore wind farm.
Siemens will deliver two 4 MW turbines to be installed in 2016 for the Phase 1 of the project.
K2 Management has supported the negotiations and helped closing the contracts for Formosa Wind Power, a winner of the Taiwan Government Grant Scheme promoting wind energy development.
The Formosa 1 offshore wind farm is located near the coast of Miaoli County.
