Bibby HydroMap has integrated the new bathymetry processing application from QPS, Qimera, into their management system.

The company that specialises in high-resolution hydrographic and geophysical surveys, geotechnical sampling and ROV inspection, said it has used the beta and pre-release testing periods to test and ensure that Qimera was operating accordingly, but also to update their procedures to be ready for the software implementation on its launch.

According to the company, as one of the first globally to adopt the new Qimera system, Bibby HydroMap will optimise efficiency and accuracy in data processing, which will enhance its services.

Gustav Pettersson , Survey Manager at Bibby HydroMap, said: “Qimera is huge leap for QPS software and will provide significant improvements in processed data delivery efficiencies and quality.”

Richard Hill , Sales Manager at QPS, commented: “Bibby HydroMap use all the QPS products in their workflow and with Qimera this will make their data processing more rapid, accurate and enhanced. Bibby HydroMap are one of the top survey companies, operating at the leading edge when it comes to performance and innovation. To that end they require their software and workflows to be the world leading and with Qimera, together with QINSy and Fledermaus that is what they have.”
