Tidewater Subsea in affiliation with its local Nigerian joint venture company, T1 Marine, has completed Mooring and Hull inspections program for BW Offshore’s Sendje Berge FPSO.

The inspection included mooring chain measurements, hull cleaning and complete inspection reporting services utilizing the survey / light IMR vessel Goldblatt Tide.

“ Outfitted with a 3000m rated FMC Schilling Robotics WROV and 50T stern A-frame, the Goldblatt Tide is the ideal solution for cost-effective deep and shallow water pre-lay and post lay surveys, as well as a large variety of inspection, maintenance and repair scopes along the West African coast, ” said Ray Maza , Tidewater Subsea Business Development Manager.

The Sendje Berge FPSO was converted from a very large crude carrier named Berge Charlotte into an FPSO at Jurong Shipyard in Singapore. The FPSO returned to the Jurong Shipyard in 2004 for upgrade and installation work to boost her production and storage capabilities.
