The long-awaited Egypt Ports and Waterways Summit, aimed to give insight into the future of the country’s maritime and trade infrastructure, began today at the Intercontinental Citystars Hotel in Cairo and will run until 11 June 2015.
Sponsored by some of the leading players in dredging industry, the event will focus on operational and dredging challenges affecting the expansion, development and efficiency of Egyptian ports, canals, waterways, river delta, river transport and surrounding infrastructure projects.
Royal IHC, one of the sponsors of the event, will host an interactive roundtable discussion session lead by Praveen Badloo (Area Director Africa) and Jannes Kamphuis (Dredging Consultant).
The topic will be “ Innovative solutions for developments in ports, waterways, rivers and infrastructure ”.
