Spanish LNG operator Enagás said it has completed the acquisition of a 30 percent interest in Saggas , the Sagunto regasification plant.

The deal is worth about 61 million euros, Enagás said in a statement issued on Monday.

Enagás has in January this year entered into an agreement with a fund managed by Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management to acquire 30 percent of Saggas and 30 percent of Bahía de Bizkaia Gas, which owns the Bilbao LNG terminal.

Saggas’ shareholder structure is now compromised by two companies, each with a 50% shareholding: Infraestructuras de Gas, formed by Unión Fenosa Gas and Oman Oil Company, and Iniciativas de Gas, made up of Enagás and Osaka Gas.
