The Rt Hon Amber Rudd MP has been confirmed as the Political Keynote Speaker for Day 1 of Global Offshore Wind 2015.

Amber Rudd MP was appointed Secretary of State for Energy & Climate Change on 11 May 2015.

She had previously been Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for the Department since July 2014.

She joined Parliament as Conservative MP for Hastings & Rye in 2010. From 2010-2012 she was a member of the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Select Committee.

She then served as Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Chancellor of the Exchequer from 2012-2013, and as Assistant Whip from October 2013.
