Total gas sales volume by Japan’s Tokyo Gas for the month of May came to about 1,057.814 million m3, down 9.1% from May 2014.
In the residential sector, volume totaled 263.573 million m3, down 4.4% from May 2014, while in the business sector, volume totaled 174.137 million m3, almost equal (up 1.1%) to that in May 2014, Tokyo Gas informed in a report.
In the industrial sector, volume totaled 461.592 million m3, down 15.3% from May 2014.
Volume for wholesale supply to other gas companies totaled 158.513 million m3, down 7.2% from May 2014.
