Alam Maritim Resources Berhad informed that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Alam Maritim (M) Sdn Bhd, has recently entered into a subcontract with Petronas Floating LNG 1 (L) Ltd (PFLL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Petroliam Nasional Berhad.
According to Alam Maritim, the works, awarded by PFLL, are for the engineering, procurement, installation and related activities for the floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) offshore works, namely the mooring system installation.
The contract value is RM49.0 million (approximately $13 million), said the company in its filing to Bursa Malaysia.
The duration for subcontract works, which already started in May this year, is until September 15, 2015.
