Hilal Makina, a Turkish-based manufacturer of dredging equipment and parts, has just signed a contract to build 86 pieces of wire sheaves.
The sheaves (with outside dimensions of 1400, 1700, 2000 mm) will be used in the dredging industry for lifting and guidance operations.
The company will do the rough machining, induction and finish machining. The groove hardness of the sheaves will be hardened until 350 HB. The materials for the sheaves are standard GS60 steels.
Hilal Makina is planning delivery of the goods at the end of July and the total value of the project is $250,000.
The company, with more than 30 years of experience in the industry, recently expanded its facilities with additional 800m² of closed area that will be used for assembly and painting operations.
