The equipment will support the overboard deployment and recovery of diver tools supporting subsea work.

It will be be fitted on the current diver support vessel in build for Sealion Shipping, on behalf of Toisa.

The Romica-supplied fully framed winch systems, A-Frame and Hydraulic Power Units will be mounted on common skids, with technical support, documentation, spares and certification. The package of supply also includes 2 off constant tension winches and a 1Te general purpose winch unit, with the complete package supporting diving operations delivering service hoses and lines as well as tooling baskets.

Bob Turner , Managing Director of REL said: “We are delighted that ZPMC have selected Romica as a winching and lifting system supplier to support their overboard deployment and recovery requirements. This contract for the supply of a comprehensive suite of equipment allows the end customer to ensure the divers services and packages of tools are deployed, managed and recovered safely and reliably.”

Zhang Wei , Manager at ZPMC said: “It’s fortuitous to get the opportunity to cooperate with Romica for this project. It’s the very first time, but Romica showed us great advantages when preparing the technical proposal. We wish this would be a good beginning and hope Romica can provide more support in our future offshore projects.”
