Deepwater Wind, the developer of the first offshore wind farm in the United States, has published another video of the progress that has been made to install the first wind turbines at the Block Island wind farm site.
The video shows work on the steel foundations that will be installed at the site.
Steel jacket structures for five offshore wind foundations are being built by Gulf Island Fabrications in Louisiana. The foundations are scheduled to be fully built and installed off Block Island this summer.
