Breman Machinery informed that it has delivered a second monopile gripper on behalf of Van Oord Ship Management.

After success with the first gripper, Van Oord ordered a second gripper by the end of October 2014.

The second gripper, measuring 14,5x29x13,5m and with a weight of 560 mT was assembled and tested at Bremans facility in Ijmuiden.

This new facility, built in 2013, is located in the port of IJmuiden and has an open connection to the North Sea.

The gripper was partially welded, machined and painted at Bremans facility in Genemuiden.
