The Bilbao import terminal in Spain is expected to receive a shipment of liquefied natural gas from Nigeria next week.
The cargo is being transported by the BW-owned LNG Imo, with a capacity of 148,300 cubic metres, and it is due to arrive at the terminal on July 4.
Bilbao terminal facilities have a production rate of 800,000 Nm3/h. The terminal was commissioned in 2003.
In May, Bahía de Bizkaia Gas completed a two-year process of rearranging the existing facilities at the Bilbao LNG terminal and adding the third storage tank with a capacity of 150,000 cbm. This allowed the company to begin LNG re-loading operations at the facility.
