Iran’s deputy petroleum minister and the managing director of the National Iranian Gas Company said the country is capable of designing and building gas distribution networks in other countries.

“NIGC is capable of designing and building gas distribution networks in other countries and supply all necessary equipment in this regard,” Hamidreza Araqi said.

He also pointed to NIGC’s accomplishments during the past three decades and said the company is ready to share its technical expertise with other countries.

Araqi said that NIGC’s activities have not been limited to domestic gas supply, adding that the company has become self-reliant in manufacturing commodities and bringing about constructive competition.

He noted that NIGC is currently active in gas supply without any dependence on foreign companies. He said Iranian companies and industrialists are providing all necessary equipment.
