Vroon, an international shipping company, announced that VOS Gorgeous had arrived in Aberdeen, following her long journey from Fujian Southeast Shipbuilding in Fuzhou, China.
VOS Gorgeous is the third vessel of a series of four 60-metre ERRV (Emergency Response and Rescue Vessel) field-support vessels (FSVs).
It was christened in a ceremony held in November 2014 at the Shipyard by Mireille Notebaart and delivered to Vroon in April 2015.
The vessels feature a wave-piercing bow shape, DP2 and a 300m2 cargo deck. It will be managed by Vroon Offshore Services Aberdeen and will operate in the North Sea.
Vroon says that the vessel is now being prepared for duties and will start a charter starting July 1, 2015.
