NIGC denied reports published in the media regarding an alleged agreement with Botas to give it a discount in the gas price, the company’s director for international affairs, Azizollah Ramezani said.
He said in a statement that there have been negotiations in the last year for an increase in the volume of gas being delivered to Botas in the framework of the new contract with this company.
Ramezani stressed that there has not been any suggestion to reduce the price of natural gas under the current contract with Botas.
He added that the price of its gas being sold to Botas needs no revision.
