The Hamburg-based shipbroker has arranged shipping of new-build CTV from Asia to Europe.

Namely, Global Renewables Shipbrokers (GRS) provided the appropriate tonnage for the transportation of 26-metre long Njord Freyr.

The new-build, called Njord Freyr, had withstood the ordeal of the 30-day transit from Singapore in good shape.

“GRS arranged a safe, high-quality and extremely low-cost heavy-lift transport for us,” said Tom Mehew, Director of Njord Offshore.

The latest addition to the company’s fleet will now be deployed in the northern European area for personnel transfers in the offshore wind sector.
