Qatargas, ConocoPhillips firm up incident assistance deal

Qatargas and ConocoPhillips signed an incident assistance agreement that will further enhance the Qatargas response management system.

World’s largest LNG producer Qatargas, and oil and gas giant ConocoPhillips signed an incident assistance agreement

The agreement will facilitate providing technical expertise to effectively respond to an emergency incident, Qatargas said in a statement.

This agreement represents an important step to ensuring safety, recovery, stabilization and business continuity of Qatargas’ operations in case of an emergency, the statement added.
