Chubu and Inpex in energy pact

Chubu Electric Power and Inpex Corporation said they have entered a heads of agreement to consider a joint business operation to supply electricity.

Chubu Electric Power and Inpex Corporation said they have entered a heads of agreement to consider a joint business operation to supply electricity.

The agreement outlines the respective roles and responsibilities of Chubu Electric, Chubu Electric unit Diamond Power Corporation and Inpex in the supply of electricity to city gas companies engaged in the retail of electricity.

Moving forward, Inpex, Chubu Electric and DPC will roll out a joint plan on the supply of electricity to city gas companies and industrial customers that procure natural gas supplies from Inpex.
