Polish LNG terminal at Swinoujscie is expected to start up in the second quarter of 2016, country’s treasury minister Andrzej Czerwinski said.
Speaking to a local radio minister said the construction is expected to be completed by October this year.
An appendix to be signed with Italy’s Saipem that is constructing the terminal will also determine the final deadline for completing the project that has been delayed for more than a year.
Operated by Gaz-System’s unit Polskie LNG the faiclity will have a regasification capacity of 5 billion cubic meters of natural gas annually in its first stage of operation.
